*Tavaron and Paul nod and stand up. Tavaron walks to the door, then turns back*

I'll just go and get some clothes. We'll be back in a minute.

*Paul nods*

Same with me.

*they go to their bedroom and Tavaron pulls a light dress over her bikini while Paul just puts on a t-shirt. Then they join Eli and Lucy again and put on their shoes in the anteroom.*

*Paul whistles*

Senta, hier!</>

*Senta comes running from wherever she was and Paul gives her a pat.*

* Eli and Lucy use the time to go and brush their teeth. After putting on their shoes, they leave the tardis. Lucy looks at Paul and Tavaron. *

Which way shall we go?

*Tavaron looks around, then points to a direction*

This way. If we go there we can walk along the beach at first and then walk into the forest along a little river which brings us close to the beach again after a while.

* Eli and Lucy nod and begin to walk in the indicated direction. Eli smiles at Tavaron. *

Kyra asked us yesterday if the planet is inhabited. Do you know if it is?

*Tavaron shakes her head*

As far as I know it isn't, no.

*while they walk along the beach Paul throws sticks for Senta*

* Eli nods, and smiles at Paul. *

She's a lot more playful than with Frau Unterweltraumführerin, isn't she?

* Meanwhile Lucy looks around, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, but also looking for footsteps in the sand. *

*Paul chuckles*

Oh, Brunhild plays with her, too, she's just... Brunhild... if you know what I mean. The dog doesn't have a bad life with her.


*where a little river joins the sea, Tavaron leads the others into the forest*

*a bird gives them an annoyed screach and flies away*

* Eli and Lucy take care not to slip on the slick rocks in the stream. Eli inhales deeply, enjoying the scents of the forest mingling with that of the sea. He smiles at Paul. *

Oh, I'm sure she takes good care of her dog. She just doesn't seem very playful. Although...

* He chuckles, and Lucy, realising what he's thinking about, joins in. Eli grins at Paul and Tavaron and tells them about Brunhild with her arms full of stuffed animals on the day before the Eisteddfod. *

*Paul laughs*

Oh really? That's interesting. Well, she seems to be nicer than usually now anyhow. When she visited us in the tardis to see Senta she wasn't as mean to kitty as she usually is.

*he holds his hand out to Tavaron to help her over a stone - or better: so they both fall if one of them slips.*


*they all soon reach a small waterfall*

* Eli laughs, too. *

Yes, and we even have reason to believe she gave all the toys away to some local children.

* Lucy sighs as she sees the waterfall. *

Oh, that's beautiful.

* She grins at Tavaron. *

If the showers in the tardis ever malfunction, we now know where to go.

* She winks. *

*Paul chuckles*

Ah... just don't tell her that you think she did that. Brunhild may get angry. And she wouldn't admit it anyhow.

*Tavaron smiles*

Yes, it's beautiful. I played here in the river with dad when I was small. We sometimes came here.


*she crouches down and picks up a small flat stone and holds it in her flat hand. For a while she just looks at it, then she slowly lowers her hand. The stone remains where it was - which now is about 10 cm above her hand. Tavaron smiles and moves her other hand like she would be stirring something with her finger. The stone turns.
Tavaron suddenly remembers the people who stand around her. She picks the stone out of the air and shakes her head stands up again*

*she looks at Paul*

Catch.

*she throws the stone to him and Paul catches it with both hands, sighs and then looks a bit embarrassed. Then he decides to pretend it's Tavaron's fault and not his, opens his hands and the stone is gone. He hopes Eli and Lucy will really think it was Tavaron - although he can't even say why. *

Nice trick, kittty.

*Tavaron gives him a peck on the cheek but doesn't answer*

* Eli and Lucy laugh and clap appreciatively at Tavaron's 'trick'. Eli smiles at Paul, but with an observant look in his eyes. *

Is there more to you than meets the eye, Paul? That's some impressive manual dexterity. Ever tried your hand at being a magician?

*Paul sighs inwardly. But what does that mean now? Does Eli think it's something like a card trick?*

Oh its nothing. I've sometimes entertained children with it.

*Paul's tail twitches nervously, Tavaron takes his hand and gives him a meaningful look*

* Eli sees the subject makes Paul nervous, so he decides to drop it. *

I can imagine they would love it.

* He smiles at Paul and Tavaron. *

Shall we go on? We still haven't found Kyra.

*Tavaron nods and leads the others into the forest*

Oh yes, they liked it.

*he appreciates that Eli doesn't go on asking. Maybe he will tell him some day. And Jack, he should explain what happened when they once had breakfast. Paul feels a bit silly but since his family died he hardly ever let anyone notice what he can do.*

* Eli and Lucy enjoy the spectacular vegetation, stopping occasionally to admire a flower or a tree. After one such stop they catch up with Tavaron and Paul again, and Lucy asks: *

Do you know how big this island is, Tavaron? How long would it take to walk around it, following the coastline?

*Tavaron thinks about the question while they walk out on the beach again*

It's not very big. You cancertainly make it in a couple of hours.

*Frankie has gotten bored waiting for Kyra to show some sign of life, but she hasn't strayed far from her. She hears voices in the distance and stays near Kyra until she sees Eli and the two women, then she barks happily and races to meet them*

*Kyra is still dozing, half awake and half asleep*

*Senta runs to meet Frankie. Tavaron turns to the others*

It seems like we were lucky and went to the right direction.

* Lucy grins at Tavaron, while Eli walks towards Frankie, who has dodged Senta and jumps up against him, wagging her tail wildly. Eli smiles and pets her affectionately. *

Hello, old girl. I'm happy to see you, too. Where's Kyra? Can you take us to Kyra?

* Frankie keeps wagging her tail and trots off in the direction from which she came, stopping for just a moment to sniff Senta's behind. Eli looks back at Tavaron, Paul and Lucy and gins, before he follows Frankie. *
