I've found a cabin, and have settled in quite quickly.
Please visit from time to time! Hey wait, now that I'm first mate, I'm in charge! All right!

Mr. First Mate, Sir:
I took the liberty of checking for safety
equipment such as life preservers, life
rafts, and emergency cheescake rations. This ship
is well-supplied on all three counts, though
the fruit on the cheesecakes is laced with a
little too much rum for my taste.
Before we go to sea, it might be good to
think of other provisions we might need.
Since this ship predates electricity, the services
of an electrician might come in handy. For
one thing, having electric lights would mean that
you could play cards well into the night
without eyestrain from candles.

Morning Cap'n...where would you like me to put these generators?
How about in the generator room, you know...the one next to my luxury cabin with the comfy chair in it?

Don't worry, Paul, we've got all the electricity we need for all the ancient equipment from the 20th century that we still like to use, because we are so nostalgic and because it is entertaining, picturesque and such. We even still have some digital watches and cellphones!
We also have kerosene for the lamps in my private cabin for that matter...
This may *look* like an ancient tallship, but don't be fooled by the looks.
Now, before I have to leave again I would like to say that I am very pleased to see you all. I am sorry I could not welcome each and every one of you in person but as I said earlier: I have been - and still am - very busy in RL.
Se you again soon - hopefully in about 24 hours!

Very good Mistress DeNoir. And Bonjour to Alec Trician!
*shakes hands*
Any friend of my First Mate is a friend of mine. I was wondering, do you know anything about carpentry? My associate, Mr. Andrews, has trapped himself under the desk that is firmly wedged into the corridor.

Would that be the wisest method? I was thinking perhaps of widenind the wall about 50 centimeters into the adjacent cabin and rewiring the lights so they don't hang down quite so low.

...isn't the gasman due to call on monday?
i think he needs to be involved here... in any case that is a watertight bulkhead that your desk and your friend are transcending there and i dont think we should start chopping anything out of it.
...couldn't you both just learn to write smaller? (suggestion respectfully submitted sir).

They don't seem to do tex-mex though. I really need a chimmichanga to absorb all that
I do hope DM brings back an inordinately large supply of
Although I am sure Hati could grow enough vines in the greenhouse.
Not sure where we would find the chalk caves for the fermentation process? I suppose we could use the New World method.

No problem, Caerwynn! Several of the holds are way down below sea level which secures a stable temperature.
And should DM not be back before our supplies run dry we can always jump through space and time and fetch some, so no worries there either.
Care for a with that ?

Captain Sir.
Do you need medical personel abord in case of terrible injuries to the members of your crew.
I am well versed in nautical trauma and its treatment, and can supply my own instruments
I would like to formally apply for position of ships medic.

Well I personally would be only too happy to be relieved of my first aid duties in order to concentrate on my role as Seamstress.
You are more than welcome to lug the first aid tea chest around instead! We really need a ship's carpenter to knock up a smaller one!
If the Cap'n takes you on, I shall drag the chest along to your chosen cabin willingly.
Thanks for the
