Quite right. I've got a good friend whose from Enniskillen and shes *voted* in every recent election in that constituency, despite the fact that she's lived in West Yorkshire for at least the last 10 years.

Monday Tuesday, Happy Days, Wednesday, Thursday, Happy Days
paulh, vaccinated against the Omigod Variant Posted Jan 28, 2002
These days are oooooooours, Happy days!
Richie and Fonzie were not Thingites, now, were they?
As for "Closet Thingites," the word "closet" is
redundant. A thin-gite would be a very thin dress,
almost see-through. Too revealing for all but the
raciest occasions. So, the closet would be its
perpetual home.
Sodit, Wimpy, Happy Days! Thing, Poets, Happy Days! Doobry! What a day!
Shea the Sarcastic Posted Jan 28, 2002
Not necessarily, Paul ... all depends upon the occupation of the thin-gite's owner.

Laverne and Shirley were Thursdayites, too!
paulh, vaccinated against the Omigod Variant Posted Jan 28, 2002
Shea made a good point about the
occupation of the thin-gite wearer.
I don't happen to work in any of those
occupations, so I'll just have to be
happy with Monday and its associates.
Of course, if I'm ever marooned on a
desert island on the fifth day of the
week, and there's another castaway
who happens to be a poet, I won't *mind*
caliing him "Poet." But if he can't
write poetrfy to save his soul, wouldn't
"Friday" be a good name for him?
Laverne and Shirley were Thursdayites, too!
Batty_ACE Posted Jan 28, 2002
*wanders in wearing a thin-gite and ignoring the backlog for the most part*
Laverne and Shirley were just plain silly, actually.
Flossie the cat (I love Dewey to bits) Posted Jan 28, 2002
I don't know much about Laverne or Thing or Monday or Happy Days, I'm just here to say hello to everyone, especially Miss Shea who gives me nice scratches under the chin and behind the ears, which is where us cats like it best cos we can't reach those bits too well on our own Anyone seen Dewey around here by the way?
Laverne and Shirley were just plain silly, actually.
Shea the Sarcastic Posted Jan 28, 2002
No Flossie, I haven't seen Dewey, I'm sorry.

How's that one?
