Welcome back...
I can't understand why you wouldn't read all the backlog though - it can't be more than 50 or 60 LEDs, can it?

Oh we broke the single-sign on thingy - my conversation list has started listing all the thingite threads in negative values.

Lady Scott Posted Jan 11, 2004
You mean yours *just* started doing that?!
Mine's been listing them in negative numbers since SSO began!
For instance, if I've just posted on 3N, it will say there's -83 new posts, if there's been 20 posts since mine, it will say there's -63 new posts.

Interesting I can do without.
I keep getting last posted times that actually go backwards. 3 minutes ago on the thread, but just now when I go back to my page. I can only presume the servers have had a tiff and aren't talking to each other.

AK - fancy that! Posted Jan 11, 2004
I didn't mean read ALL the backlog, jsut a few pages... someoen asked what they were talking about.
THe problem with the times started before SSO when h2g2 got 4 new servers... they aren't all running on the same times, off by a few minutes.
Also I think if you wanted to see which servers are actign up, though I don;t see why you would, you could keep refreshing <./>status</.>...
