Rissa, it's the database that's slow, irrispective of the speed of your connection. If you play with the URL to return ten times, or even a hundred times as many posts, it only makes the whole turnaround three or four seconds longer. That shows it's not the time taken to send the data to you that's significant.

mist fog cold damp...did I mention cold. summer has left these shores....
