Can a new kid jump in anytime? I have been schooled in the art of the haiku by Masters Slippy and thegrue.
Vinegar on fries

Hi Talix,
Anyone can jump in anytime. But NB, the western Haiku structure in terms of syllables is 5, 7, 5. ( The other traditonal refinements of Japanese haiku don't apply here.)

Mine scans that way if you pronounce "sour" with two syllables.

I just looked it up on yourdictionary.com and they pronounced it with two syllables, but that may be accent dependent.
