Welcome to the page of Chaiwallah

" One of the many implications of recent cosmological observations is that the concept of parallel universes is no mere metaphor. Space appears to be infinite in size. If so, then somewhere out there, everything that is possible becomes real, no matter how improbable it is..." Scientific American, May 2003.

Chaiwallah's revised recipe for Good Masala Chai, try it and see!

Grind together 50 grams of green or white cardamoms, 20 grams of black pepper, 10 grams of cloves and 20 grams of cinnamon. One dessertspoon of this mixture is added to enough water for a teapot for two people. Add an equal amount of milk. Add at least two tablespoons of sugar and three teabags/teaspoons of strong Indian tea. Grate and add a lump of fresh root ginger, 20 grams, about the size of your thumb. Bring to the boil and simmer till well stewed. Strain and serve. Ideally in very small unglazed earthenware cups. Voila. Alter this recipe to taste.

PS. If you came across my name on some demented thread, and wondered, ( well, you might have, possibly, mightn't you??? wah) what the initials mean, they are as follows:

HNM = hippy nerdo mutt ( as I, among others, was described on a racism
thread, by an unpleasant sort. We unanimously chose to take it as a compliment and wear it as a badge, with pride. So there.)

Still bored? Go visit Anyone for Nonsense...The Ballad of Grimley Moer ( warning, the first 20 pages are the Primordial Chaos from which the later lucid lunacy arose...)

F19585?thread=283765&skip=1 will take you to the beginning of the ballad.
F19585?thread=283765&skip=166 will take you to the origin of the universe.( verse 8 of that section onwards.)
F19585?thread=283765&skip=249 will take you to the abode of the gods.
