h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Forgive me for barging into Grimley Moer, it has been very much a two-man show and of that, very much 'yours'. The standards that you set are high.
However, I did take the trouble (pleasure) to read the lot and to make a separate list of the characters, places and 'things' that abide therein.
To get half way trough copying it only to find that someone has already done it, was a bit like the eigth pint of Pleedrik's Archibolt, and I nearly lost my equilibrium.


However, what stunned me most was the quite staggereing input during the first two weeks - it was unbelievable.

I have/will tried to follow the (pretty simple) rules and hope that I can contribute to achieve the original aim, as well as have some fun. If you are not careful the cat and the abatross (from the poetry conversation thread) might end up camping on Grimley Moer!

A brilliant thread though - congratulations.
