Kindly leave my name out of this discussion, I have no interest in ruling h2g2. Thank you.

You have to admit though, my post was pretty good eh?
The bit at the start meant it did actually happen, the detailed descriptions of their deaths were there, and I stopped any other versions of the two, ahem, candidates from existing!
Well, I thought it was nicely wrapped up...it's just a shame no one heeded or actually understood what was written at the top of the post...
Ah! look! I didn't change the subject header!

Oh, I love 'Murder by Death' Witty.
Puts it on. OK folks. New movie is rolling!
Hi Titania! Good to see you.
Yes, Big C. It was nicely done. Quite entertaining. But we're on to another movie now

*rushes in from lobby* I was just on my way home to eat, and I just remembered something.
If y'all see Joe, will you tell him he's not a penguin? Thanks!

Peregrin Posted Aug 10, 2000
To tell the truth I'm bored of all this backbiting. Although I still think that The Celery is breaking the terms and conditions of this campaign, I'm prepared to have peace talks.
*stops turning up his nose at all The Celery's team*
Lil, Redbeard, anyone else that's around, I offer a pipe of peace. It's a non-nicotine pipe, and regarding my reputation, no it won't make you high/dead.
And all round for The Celery and his team.

*hugs Peregrin*
You and Shazz will have to agree to disagree on the matter of the Terms and Conditions, Peregrin, but as the first survivor of last night's Calvinball game at the park to wake up, I gladly welcome your peace initiative.
Shall we go over to the Aroma Cafe and have a cuppa? (oh, yeah, we need fresh milk)
Post-'Assassination' party
Bluebottle Posted Aug 10, 2000
Don't worry - I always have milk for the tea, even if Peregrin forgets to deliver.

*walks in door wearing full kilt suit*
Right, I'm an opposition candidate, and I never got an invitation, so I'm just going to walk in to this little shindig, they can't stop me, they...
Where is everyone?
*reads backlog*
Oh for goodness' sake. Right. If the party and the war are over, would anyone care to go for a drink somewhere? Or is there still a point to me staying here?
DISCLAIMER: The annoyed tone is an affectation. Please nobody think I'm ACTUALLY P-ed off...

Captain Al Boy! He exists! oops, sorry. :-) Welcome Captain! You're invitation is at http://www.h2g2.com/F47169?thread=67910 You know you might actually want to check out your campaign page sometime. ;-) The one I'd really be surprised to see here is VP candidate Holistic Detective. Have you checked out his home page? It's really quite creative. 8-)

well I know for a fact that *I* was never invited. hmmmf!
As if me only becoming running-mate this week is an excuse for not inviting me when you planned this? huh!

You're absolutely right, RedFish. We should have had the foresight to invite you retroactively!

*wanders in having missed all the bruhaha(thankfully)and the fresh mounds of dirt in the Chrome's formal gardens (hatchets)*
'Lo, Redbeard, and all. Looks like this place has shaped up into a smokey back room where all the real politicin and deals are made.
Realizing the best way to keep things from getting done is to form a commitee; is there a possibility (or probability) of the candidates forming a joint presiding commitee or an oligarchy?
*settles into chair* Waiter, Long Island iced tea, please. Hold the Long Island.
