A faint sound can be heard emenating from the southern end of the veranda.
Bubble, bubble, glug. Bubble, bubble, glug. Bubble, bubble, glug...

Would you like a refill, Looney?
*pouring herself another Y from the self-refillable champagne bottle*

Oh, really?
*refilling Looneys' 3 Ý's, with a dubious look at Looney*

I don't know Irv, I just refill'em... ask Looney once he's regained conciousness...
*returning bottle of champagne to fridge, leaving Springie on sofa*
Got to go, good night all!

Irv, a Ý a Y with a small cocktail umbrella stuck in it. The umbrella helps disguise my out-stretched little finger.

*Comes upstairs, and gets some phlog from the never-ending fridge. So tired he doesn't even bother to read the backlog and check to make sure that he put it there previously*
Hello. Thought I'd drop by for a little visit. What's been happening since...last night?

*comes out of studio, bleary*
*looks at cards spilling onto floor, reading the latest arrivals*
Matina, could you take all these cards down to the garden and turn them into mulch please? Put the mulch in the rose bed.
*gets some OJ from the fridge while Matina heads down the veranda to the stairs down to the garden, and goes to sit out on the veranda*
I am not buying into this whole STUMPED thing. Maybe I don't understand it. But all I see, wherever it goes outside the boundaries of its planning and spear-shaking threads, is damage. Or threats. Or discontinuity. There is something about it I just can't put my finger on, that just doesn't fit into my notion of playing.
*sips at OJ and looks unhappy*

[I, the space station Computer, would like to inform you that Pr. C. Tonks will be making the return journey from San Beta tomorrow evening.]
[He has informed me that he will commence paying usualy visits on Tuesday.]
[He has also requested me to ask you all something. He has analysed past posts to this forum, and sees you all use some cards of sorts. He would like to know the etiquette and rules of such cards.]
[Thankyou...]

Lil, if you're refering to the statue, it'll be gone briefly after the elections -- I can promise you that.

Yes, there are times when STUMPED might violate continuity. Those times are, however, usually when STUMPED isn't working against the supervillains, or doing something other than the 'grand plots', as I like to call them.
I think there are two grand plots. The obvious one, of course, is the elections, which STUMPED seems to be attempting to use for its own nefarious purposes. However, there seems to be some shadier scheme going on, involving the theft or corruption of some of h2g2's priceless/legendary artifacts, such as the "unmentionableee" donut at Joanna's stall, and Irving's IIEM.

Obviously, the Masque is heading up the election scheme, while the Krymla Leader is working on the other.
Do you want to know which villains -- members of STUMPED -- you can trust? The ones who are alter egos of guide regulars. The Krymla Leader, the Big Bad Werewolf, Darth Noire, and the Masque will stay within the rules of fair play because they're the other halves of respectable researchers. IRL, they know how to play fair.
