Sympathise for me, brothers. Tomorrow I need to get up at 6am and travel to Leicester for grandparents Golden Anniversary. While this should be a moment for great rejoicing, for me, who cannot relate to this things, it will be an utterly dire weekend. I cannot spend a whole weekend talking to grown-ups about miserable accounting matters, and all the kids are at least three years younger than me (the age gap is amazing). The only boy there will laugh at me for wearing an Iron Maiden t-shirt, before his sisters bully him into submission.

So close to the new school year, too. Now THAT'll be fun....

Well I'll be up at 7 to go to a friends wedding near Cambridge. If they last till their golden aniversary, it'll be the exception rather than the norm. That's not that I've anything against these two, absolutley lovely couple. I think they're both wonderful and I wish them all the best. I just wish I didn't have to get up so early to travell across the country with a hangover and trying to sleep some more
