I apparently am Warp OS2, If I understood enough about wiggly amps and recalcitrant binaries I might be pleased. Caerwynn o fellow dragon hearted heroine of close harmony singing, guns are a bit infra dig - a really highly polished stick is absolutely what is required to strike fear into the hearts of the enemy (it is used to flourish in the air and point out to the operator of the UAVs what is the current source of angst, the UAV operators tell their friends and a short time later, as if by magic, harmony and wa is restored!)

O'Reilly also do Learning Red Hat Linux, which is a good reference but still not for the faint hearted.
You don't want to switch over in one go, thats a sure way to fail
In my case I ran various Linux disributions on my old PC for a while to play with before making my main PC dual boot.
and only when I was happy with the setup transferring my pile of Emails etc over.
I've found Mandrake the easiest to set up on my machines (both Red Hat and Debian didn't like some of the hardware, but thats because I collect strange bits of kit)

PWM
It is well known within the industry of wiggly amps and recalitraint binaries that equipment only works due to the magic smoke contained within it, once the magic smoke is released the equipment stops working
In your case do the friends of the UAV operators cause those who were making a disturbance to release large clouds of magic smoke on the horizon, after which they are no longer able to make angst.

Go to one lousy workshop and you wind up with 5 pages of Blog. I now know more about bivariate correlations, correlation/quadrant analysis, cluster analysis and perceptual mapping than I really wanted to know.

I am Debian Linux and not the least bit wiggly. *glares forbiddingly through monocle*

I am Apple DOS 3.1. At least it's an Apple OS .
Reportedly Xandros Linux is one of the easiest to set up and use, being based on Corel Linux. I haven't used it though. Having used Red Hat Linux, I would suggest looking for something else. And I did have the misfortune to use just about every version of Windows available, including Runtime (I think it came with Excel).

I am apparently PalmOS. Which I find odd, since I think my Palmpilot is the most useless piece of junk I ever bought.
Then again, it's good I was something fairly mainstream...what the hell *is* debian, anyway?!
Does anyone know if those cell phone/ palm pilots are any good? I might actually use the pp features then.

The test said "You are HP-UX. You're still strong despite the passage of time. Though few understand you, those who do love you deeply and appreciate you."
Seems pretty accurate to me .

I haven't done the test as I couldn't answer the first question, as there wasn't one that said: none of the above, dress hastily in whatever is on the bedroom floor, grab lippy, compact, mascara to apply in the car at traffic lights followed by a breath freshner
Or as I w*rk from home, have an extra 27 mintes in bed then descend the stairs in dressing gown.
Witty, I would be absolutely knackered without my Tungsten, my little friend who keeps track of my calories, appointments, phone book, converts measurements, shopping list, favourite snapshots, favourite wines....oh I could go and on! I am just debating whether to the download an mp3 player and Planetarium.

Z, linux would fit very well within a network. Something you might want to look out for at a good magazine shop (eg a large WHSmith) is something called Starting Linux (or similar). It's a big magazine all about, wait for it, starting out with linux in the vein of those ones produced for XP and the like. Can't remember what's on the cover disk but might at least be worth a look.

No.2 pencil and big chief tablet here.
Not sure what the meaning of life is, Ox, but I suspect it has something to do with Matina's cinnamon buns and mbougatses, either of which I could demolish right now.
I like my new work Saturday have Monday off schedule until Saturday. And of course this Monday I would have had off anyway. My cataloger conned me out of a 4 day weekend and is extremely smug about it.

I don't know what Debian Linux is either, and did note the assumption being made that all takers of the quiz were entities who shave.
I mean, I know what Linux is, but not Debian. Perhaps it's an off-world brand.
The synthroid is kicking in. I'm sleeping OK, but am having attacks of nervous energy. Or perhaps I'm simply accustomed to being so alert, mentally...
*opens the french doors to the terrace and steps outside* Well, all the summer furniture has been put out and the grill has been cleaned and set up. Matina was simmering the ribs last night while Chloe made hamburgers. You lot bring the rest of the food, all right?
Will Marv be here to run the grill, or will someone else volunteer? We can always get Ampton to do the honours.

unaccustomed, I meant. Synthroid does not remove the propensity for word-o's.

30 degrees isn't hot, sea? I'm not moving to your neck of the woods then!
Sir Paul is up tonight and has been meeting with Putin, and is generally occupying the airwaves as his state visit to Russia continues. Except that Taty are representing us at Eurovision, so some obligitory spectulation about their likely behaviour is necessary too. We will come 15th again and the country will be outraged. Why do we keep sending real pop stars, I wonder?

I think there has been a confusion between Celsius and Fahrenheit...
Just looked at my camera lens and I see water marks! Probably snowflake stains . They're not visible unless you turn the camera just so. I'll give the lens a proper clean with a bit of warm distilled water later on today -- I'm afraid to put Windex on it.

I can certainly man the grill, Lil.
Debian is another distro of Linux that is quite common in some areas. Many of the geeks that I work with run Debian. My linux box is running SuSE and it was by far the easiest setup I have as of yet encountered.
Well, off to the office for me.
