Gosh. It's still only 9 pm, 2002 here. I suppose I'm starting as I mean to go on -- studying, learning how to use new apps, and popping online now and again. Life could be a lot worse than that.

Happy New Year! As the guests trickle out I am just getting ready to crash hard fo r the night. 6 hours of inebriation are at an end and I have the task of cleaning in the early afternoon tomorrow.

I'm feeling somewhat worse for wear, in spite of the brilliant brunch H cooked: fried eggs, sausages, bacon and bread. Just the thing to line your stomach

Well I'm now over the hangover but absolutly drenched
It stop raining so I shot up the road the shop only to get caught in a downpour on the way back.
They always say taking a cold shower is a good hangover cure but this is ridiculus.

Happy New Year from a rather damp UK.
In my house we've officially reached the "pyjamas as daywear" stage of the school holidays.

Happy New Year from behind the Zion Curtain.
No hangover this morning. Just a nice lie-in till about 1000. I think that I will enjoy a few more episodes of Malcom in the Middle (I bought the first season DVD).

Coely, we've reached that stage as well. I've convinced her to at least wear *warm* pajamas, but she's determined not to get dressed unless she absolutely has to.
For that matter, I'm at the sweats stage, myself.

I am so glad the PJs all day thing isn't just me! Mind you - I am fully dressed just now - I am not really up to going shopping in my pink and floweries!

Ladies, when you reach my age elasticized waistbands are great at any time of year.
Do all of you send the kids back to school tomorrow? I expect the library will seem quiet for a few days again. School holidays can get pretty rowdy for us.

What are these holiday things you speak of? All I see are rare the odd oasis in the ocean of sand that is a job. If you are lucky these oasis are not mirages, but real days in which you get paid not to work.
