Poor sea. It's times like this when I'm actually glad to be middle-aged and boringly settled. Relationships are so traumatic.

Sea, I suspect D told you about the 3 that had any significance for him, the other 2 he may well have forgotten about, if they were just one night stands, and brought to mind because of the questionnaire.
I was going to go into an explanation of my views on male/female attitudes to sex, but it was so dull when I read it back it nearly sent me to

SE Posted Jan 2, 2003
Personally the only time I want to hear about former sex partners (see the lack of the word 'lovers') is if it could possibly put me in a compromising position (i.e. slept with someone who was HIV positive, before or soon after they were seperated, did drugs, etc.).
Ben, have you considered picking up where Agony Aunt left off?
And my new year's resolution is to read 50 books this year. I love reading but I never take the time to read. One book, The Orchid Thief by Susan Orlean, took me over a month to read- this is a book that I could easily have finished in a night if I took the time to sit down and read for a set time. My other resolution is to write more (not here though- just in general )

sea, Sporky's right. Unless he is currently sleeping with one of the five, one of the five has an uncurable sexually transmitted disease, or ...well, that's about it, really...
The point is, he's with *you* now and that's all that matters. Not to mention that at 2 in the morning, when you're tired, is not a good time to have a "discussion".

I have learned not to ask the questions I don't want to hear the answers to. I did it hard way. I feel better now.

sea, honey, you know you can always call your big sister-cum-father, regardless of the time! Remember that next time and wake me up if you feel the need. I'm happy to talk to you.
Now, for the meat of the issue. I know that you've been not happy at D for other reasons lately. Is it possible that this fact is also coloring your response? I agree that he should have told you - especially since you're sleeping together - but this shouldn't be a deal breaker, if you know what I mean. I agree that he is probably embarassed about this and, also, he probably doesn't want you to feel embarassed about how much more experienced he is than you. (Boy, oh boy, can I tell you how THAT one goes. ) Whatever the case, though, you need to - after getting some sleep! - sit down again and figure out why you reacted the way that you did. Its as important for you to know your motivations as for you to know his in this situation. And TALK TO HIM! Once you have both had time to think, sit down and just talk. There's nothing better than that for curing this kind of thing.
And, again, call if you want to, dear. Or log onto AIM. Either way, I'm here for you.

Ben, Titania, and Hati have all given great advice: whatever happened was *before* you came into his life. No offense dear, but you have no right to expect a full divulgement of past personal history just yet. And two in the morning is no time to enter into such a discussion or disagreement. What counts now is what the two of you create together.
As for my New Year it was fabulous and I hope everyone's was as good. It certainly sounds like it from some of the comments. Isn't the elastic waistband a marvelous invention? I'm certain someone, somewhere is living high off the royalities. Unfortunately, I am at work and none of my work clothes have such a thing.

Is codeine(sp?) heavy stuff? I have a new cold (or the old one never did let go properly and popped up it's ugly head again - it's not fair! I just had a cold!)
Anyway, I had an (unfortunately) empty bottle of cough medicine that does wonders for me when I have a really slimy kind of cough - the kind that makes you sound as if you're talking from the other side of the grave - and I took it to the pharmacy and asked if they had anything like it (I bought it in Finland) - and the pharmacist's response was a 'You got this without a description?' in disbelief. OK, I knew from before that the description-free assortment is much bigger in Finnish pharmacies than in Swedish ones - but it seems that in Sweden it's absolutely impossible to get anything with codeine(?) in it without a prescription!
...and they didn't have anything that combines slime-dissolving and cough-soothing(?) like the Finnish one - it seems to be either or...
*thinking that the codeine might be the reason for the red triangle on the Finnish bottle, and also the reason for making her sleep like a baby all night through when taken in the evening*

Sea, have you considered that perhaps he didn't want to see you lying to the questionnaire?
As for the rest of the issue, stop counting.

Ah - that explains it - that is, if... *reads on Finnish bottle* ...'Codein. phosph. hemihydr.' is Codeine - I just guessed - that 'phosph.' makes it sounds like something that glows in the dark...
*thinking of getting a bigger bottle next time she goes to Finland*

Its good stuff, T, but definitely something worthy of being careful with.
Does anyone here know of anything interesting to do in Killeen, TX? I'm being sent there to work for two weeks and will be cut off from connection that entire time. I have to have SOMETHING to do while I'm there.
