h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*The spell book almost seems to develop teeth, and snaps at NYC's hand warningly before finishing its course to Affy's hand. Meanwhile, Affy wasn't doing too well until Kudos attempted to blast him. Affy grabbed those blasts, and tossed them at Kudos, Corrupt and NYC, hoping to gain just a second to look at the pages of his book*

[The elevator doors suddenly open, revealing Bass, Treble, Yar, the Keymaker, Affy4, and what appears to be an endless white hallway with elevator doors at F13649?thread=350526. Bass assesses ]

[Bass] Um ... did I come at a bad time?


[Trunks] Yes.

*The keymaster trips over the collapsed form of Corrupt; NYC sees his escape is near. He turns towards the hallway of elevator doors, when hit with another supercharged blast of binaryness. He turns into a granite statue of Lenin, and topples out of the elevator*

[Keymaker] Oof! [stands] I object to being tripped when I didn't even step through the door!

*that's okay, she's already meandered out of the elevator a while ago *

*Anti-Affy5 has left the elevator in a fashion described in the other conversation*

*the door to the stairs opens and sea walks through wearing a minidress and stilettos, and carrying a purse. she stops short*

so clearly this is why i couldn't get an elevator... aw, it's you guys.

*she reaches into her teensy purse and pulls out a SCUD missile launcher*

all right, whose side is NYC on? i'm with him.

*FACE appears*

FACE-They've all vanished into a long hallway of doors, accessible via the elevator door. NYC was on his own side (Team STUMPED, pretty much). The contest itself is over, but there's still a good deal of aftermath to deal with. After all, people've gotta get home somehow, right?

*FACE vanishes*

aw, nuts. always five minutes too late for the party.

*FACE appears*

FACE-Hey, you had about six months to get in on the action. You snooze, you lose.
