Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Oct 11, 2000
You know, back in the old days pregnancys were much shorter than now. Take my oldest sister for example: She was born only six month after my parents marriage.

If I'd have gone by dates, my youngest would have been vorn on 5 October, but was born on 1 November. The scans kept us better informed of the due date in that case. That was the result of trying natural precautions, which was pointless because I was so irregular. I took my temperature every day and it went up like it should, and never came down again- I rang the doctor to ask what that meant and there it was - already in the making. Never mind, he's a cutey, if a little lazy, being the third.

There is nothing wrong with the rythm method.
The ones who become pregnant are practising it wrongly.
The male is supposed to withdraw his penis before ejaculation occurs.
However I have heard it said that this is like trying to stop a changing rhinoceros with a pea-shooter.

The rhythm method is establishing your cycle and avoiding the days in the middle when you ovulate. As it was only the first month, and I was just off the pill after several years, I hadn't established a rhythm to my cycle so I should have been using precautions, I suppose.
Removing before ejaculation is the much acclaimed coitus interruptus. And come on - that really is a daft idea.

No point in coitus interruptus, since sperm are present prior to ejaculation anyway.

Seeing as my syllabus has almost nothing to do with the mechanics of sex, no. An explanation of mitosis, anyone? Interphase... prophase... metaphase... anaphase... trophase... meiosis... shag... lo and behold! Zygote... foetus... agonising pain...
Actually, the forum's been far more useful for the creative writing component of my English Lit. exam...

Good luck with your exams, Emily.
Hey, group!
I've found out I'm a virgin at something!
I'm a h2g2-meet-virgin!
However I ~am~ going to the London meet...
Ho-hum...

I am still awaiting my invite also. lol

not that I would probably be able to get there anyway unless someone was putting me up for the night, I'm a penniless student, remember.

I must admit that I liked Trillian's Child's use of the phrase "come on" in relation to coitus interruptus - very apt
I just hope that Emily's exams don't involve dissection - she's bad enough around whole dead bodies

I am not with it at the moment - I missed that one and I can usually spot a double entaunder(sp?) at 100 yards.

It certainly seems that coitus interuptus has make a big splash in this forum.
