L33T means "leet" or "elite". It's this noronic "alphabet" that some lamers came up with that consists of normal letters upside-down or changed slightly (L becomes 7, O becomes 0, I becomes |, etc.).

[Ribald] Er, hi, then.

* Azrael groans and starts coming to. *

[Ribald] Er, careful ...

* Azrael wakes up from his stupor. He looks around, grabs his bag of money in his left hand, picks up his sword with his right and supports himself with it as he stands up, facing Ribald. *


Here comes the crazed evil madman speech.


[Azrael] I got paid to do a job, and I'm going to do it. I mean, if I'm not loyal to the highest bidder, I'd be totally without moral, wouldn't I? ~You~ might be doing this for that silly church, but I'll take money over fame and glory any day, thank you very much. The hero business never seemed to work out for me...

* He turns to Lizzy. *

[Azrael] You stay out of this...

* He turns back to Ribald. *

[Azrael] ...and you die, like a good little hero. Hey, who knows? They might even make you a saint or something!

* He thrusts his sword in Ribald's direction with a triumphant expression. Nothing happens. *

[Azrael]


You need full energy for that! Plus you're not Link, baka!

[Ribald looks confused for a second (nothing new here); then he stabs Azrael.]

* With one smooth movement, Azrael averts the lethal attack, but forgets that he's holding the leather bag. The result is a ripping sound that sends shivers down Azrael's spine. *

[Azrael] No! My money!

* He watches as the money flows from the bag and... *

[Azrael] Wait. This isn't money. I've been tricked!

[Ribald] [pointing] Haw-haw!

* Azrael picks up some of the alleged money. *

[Azrael] You think this is funny? These are tacks. ~Rusty~ tacks. We almost killed each other over some lousy tacks!

* He throws them to the ground, seething. *

[Ribald] Um, no, actually, /you/ almost killed /me/ over rusty tacks. /I/ almost killed /you/ over the fact that you almost killed me!

i've just realised, i'm hardly going to be here for the next 4 weeks! tommorrow i'm off to the mediteranean (nice eh?), i'll be back next wednesday, so i'll be online then and thursday, then, on friday, i'm cycling round denmark for 2 weeks so i'll be online when i get back! so, i'll make some feebles excuse but i hope to rejoin you later! (if you havn't finished your quest!) but after denmark, i'm not going away till next year!


(lizzy) righty! i'll just let you guys sort this out between your selfs! i'm off on an incredibly secret mission but i'll try to catch you up later! bbbbbbyyyeeeeeeeee!

5 days?! Has it been that long?


[Azrael] Ok. Whatever. Let's get going, we have to find Olympos.

hi everyone, i'm back from France! i had an incredibly groovy time
i won't contribute to the story yet cos i'm off on friday, but when i get back, then i'm back!

oops, i forgot the cont!

And I just got back from New Jersey.

And I'm just about to go away for four or five daysish, but I'm around until tomorrow evening, and I've got a new character who'll be joining in.
I think the best way for Kal to join in is for someone to notice him. He's about four inches tall, a fairy, and where your stereotypical fairy is glowing white and pure, Kal is pure, unadulterated black to the point where he actually seems to emit darkness. It's impossible to tell what he is wearing, as his aura is so dark it makes it impossible to make out any details about him other than on his face. It's almost like looking at a shadow.
He can be wherever is convenient...

We first need to wait for the person who's in charge of the storyline to return.

Suits me fine. I'll just hover here on my delicate, pure black fairy wings and wait to be noticed.
