Ooh, a straight removal. Sweet.
The yikes button is working in Brunel.

Well, the threatening-like wording removed, the above is the probability under some very simple assumptions that a specific thread number and my phone number match to a certain degree. This is specified in the post that does not really contain a threat but says that Honest Iago best not talk to me this way in person. I expect the post restored. I'll be surprised if it isn't.

you'd be surprised by the sun coming up and could work out an equation to prove you did it, then correct it, to prove you were not a nut job

That's right Julzes, what you said was perfectly fine - demanding respect and threatening consequences if it isn't received is perfectly normal and decent.
My word, what a prince you are.
Just a hint, I've been on this site a lot longer than you and I know the moderation system much better than you. When a post is removed as quickly as yours was (and it was almost instantaneous) it isn't going to come back, so don't hold your breath.

Fine--I don't want to bother over it, but the police once basically told someone else to just leave me alone in a virtually analogous situation once I had explained it. You've proven you won't look at the evidence and you basically resort to simple-minded name calling once you think someone is worthless. I suggest you grow up.

Ta ta, people. As I pointed out to Clive, you won't find geniuses hanging out here.

>>Fine--I don't want to bother over it, but the police once basically told someone else to just leave me alone in a virtually analogous situation once I had explained it<<
Ignoring the fact that I don't believe you about the police thing for a second, I was leaving you alone: I've unsubbed from one of my favourite threads to get away from you. You threatened me out of the blue - of course I was going to respond.
>>I suggest you grow up.<<
I suggest you seek professional psychological help.

Honest Iago: Last words, I promise. "I didn't threaten to kill him. It was a contingency. I said that if he did not leave me alone I would kill him." That's what I told the police, and it doesn't matter what you believe. Now, all I did was use the phrase 'grave error'. If it turns out that your yikesing really did work, I just want to be clear on the facts (where you are in fact slandering me). I didn't even come close to a threat, but the moderators can make their own decision.

Now, I'm expecting a phone call later today from someone who does seem to have half a brain, so I'm going to sleep. Rainy day here.

>>I didn't threaten to kill him. It was a contingency. I said that if he did not leave me alone I would kill him"<<
Frak me - it's genuinely quite worrying that a) you don't recognise that as a threat and b) you think it's alright to share such things with us.
>>I just want to be clear on the facts (where you are in fact slandering me).<<
Then yikes me - slander and defamation are against the House Rules.
>>I didn't even come close to a threat, but the moderators can make their own decision<<
And indeed they have.
>>Last words, I promise<<
If wishing made it so.

My punctuation is an issue I put it down to that pesky neurological disorder I've diagnosed with makes grammar and doing things in order a real pain. Run-on sentences are a speciality of mine (and walking into doors frames.)
What is it about my punctuation you'd like to tell me Julzes? I'm right here y'know.
Meanwhile, I'm curious - are you a genius Julzes?
I hesitated to ask the question before as I feared it would come over as sarcasm, but since you repeated the claim that geniuses don't come here do you include yourself amongst their number?

>>Could you tell Clive about his punctuation now, please<<
Yeah sure:
Saint Clive the Winged, advocate of the One True Scally Prophet. You make occasional mistakes with your punctuation, however all is forgiven for what you post is always interesting, insightful and very witty. That you are clearly thinking hard and posting with such intelligence you can be forgiven minor lapses. Those who do nothing but troll delusional garbage and threats will not receive such forgiveness, for they are unworthy: if they cannot even use a comma correctly their posts should be utterly disregarded.
So I have spoken, so it shall be.

I can see why you'd be impressed by such an impairment but those of us who actually use all of our wits - less so.
But it's good that you have something to aspire to.
