This thread saddens me. I'm sorry because to me, you seem very angry, Apollonia.
I think I will stop reading.
I hope you find ways of communicating with likeminded people, Apollonia, and also that you find peace in not being able to change everyone.

I think I will have to follow Milla out of this conversation.
I think you have some fantastic ideas, Apollonia. I hope that one day you manage to communicate them to us. At the moment your posts are so chaotic and angry that they no longer make sense. I look forward to that day.

I haven't understood anything of what you have said/written perplexingApollonia. I doesn't make sense to me.
What I understand with my senses, as you recommend, is that you think you are intellectually above anyone else and have a desire to show it off and don't care if you - or you even intend to - put each and everyone down. I can't imagine it can do you any good.
But I think some of the contributors in this thread have begun and engaged in interesting views on our individual and collective existence.
Maybe we should take that to another thread? I would be interested in that kind of discussion.
Otherwise I think Milla hit the head on the nail.

".....that you think you are intellectually above anyone else and have a desire to show it off"
No
No No No No No
Whoever this person is, is having a laugh. EVERYTHING he/she has said is absolute unintelligable gibberish.
People here have quite rightly shown admirable patience and a desire to "Understand" what was written - and that is to be applauded.
Problem is, there is not one single person here who has understood a single word, despite their best intentions.

From your links, I´ve got an idea of what you mean.
“The elephat in the room” means that we don´t want to face some aspect of reality, despite being before us, hence “phobia”. Reality is complex but we prefer to ignore that . so Complexity Phobia, it is that?
The “thought-terminating cliché” means that we accept as folk wisdom some phrases whose idea isn´t always wise. It prevent us of going further in the thought, in exploring the idea. Clichés make us comformists.
From the last one, only skimmed:
that psychologist says that autonomy and authenticity are attacked by conformists with psychic wounds.
Is that what you didn´t say in the op (opening post)?
George Orwell, 1984, and A. Huxley, A brave new world, are mentioned. In the first book, we can see an example of controlling people by limiting the language.
From the other they mention “soma” That drugs that makes people unaware of reality
Well, more or less, nothing new in all those ideas. No serendipity.
You should have provided an example in the opening post, as Nogin told you, if you wanted to engage in a conversation.
I´m not sure if I´ll post more here.
PS: YOu ended one of your post with Quidquid id est, timeo Danaos et dona ferentes /Vergil.
Which more or less means: Troians, don´t trust the horse, whatever it is.
What do you mean?
or was it a brooch to decorate? To show off your aristo knowledge.
Comfront reality. People here are kind, educated, cheerful...
re-read the path that brought you here. Nobody means ill to you.

Out of respect for the poet Virgilio:
Equo ne credite, Teuchri/ don`t trust the horse Troians.
Quidquid id est, timeo Danaos et dona ferentis./ whatever it is, I fear Danaos, even bringing presents.

Think how much shorter this thread would be if the Moderators yanked unintelligible posts.

Robyn Hoode, can you really blame me? I was dismissed as a bourgeois dominionist, purely on account of my nationality, and no acknowledgment of my polite objection has been forthcoming. The intellectual aristocrat who launched this thread seems to lack noblesse oblige.
Key: Complain about this post
