The chickpeas didn´t move me to what I told you a few post ago. Instead, I was moved to philosophy:

our senses of smell, taste, touch, sight, ear are involved in food and sex. Eating and having sex can be intense experiences.
And then it happens what have to happens: we mixe both experiences, first one and then the other or together.

I thought about films where that occurs:

-La Bambola, by Bigas Luna
-Like water for chocolate (?)
-La grande Bouffe, by Marco Ferreri ( this one is a bit "heavy-metal")
-The feast of Babbette, (?) A puritanical small community in Denmarck "get loose" with wine and food.
- Eat, drink, love, by Ang lee, this one has not sex, but the food, the meals are a way of communication.
And sex is a way of communication...
