Swinging. Anybody tried it?

Me and Mrs SWL did for a while. Enjoyed it at the time but Mrs SWL later confessed to jealousy issues.

Maybe I'm just fussy get a hell of mess without condoms though.

Why are we likely to get yikes'd then? Haven't been around that much lately due to be busy in work, so don't know whats been going on ......have the mods gone all prudish on us?

Never tried swinging. Have been tempted and almost did once but bottled out.....................

There are new "anti profanity" rules, basically, there is an automated moderation thing now in place which will yikes words even if you put asterixs in them.

Somewhere there is a list of the nasty naughty words, but nobody seems able to find it yet, so consider anything suspect. Somebody i know got yikesed for using the last four letters of a purple vegetable which starts with beet. Which seems rather silly. He is leaving hootoo in protest, which is extremely sad.

It will probably all settle down in the long run, but for now, my advice as an ACE is be very cautious & remember, using stars won't necessarily protect you, just as condoms won't necessarily protect you!

As for swinging, nope, not for me; far too much jealousy stuff! I have enough problems coping with one bloke, the thought of getting involved with another couple in bed stuff & all the possible emotional connotations....no way!

Same here! After nearly getting involved with the swinging game I decided that I'm strictly a one man at a time woman

As for post coital things........I prefer to stay connected and curled up in each others arms for a while before heading for the shower etc......much more intimate and makes me feel warm and wanted

I always thought the 'gentlemanly' thing to do for a bloke was to fall asleep afterwards so the woman could get on with the housework or whatever it is that they do

Swinging - yeah, nice to fantasise about ("Shall we bring that waitress home with us?") but I don't think I'd want to do it for real. Anyone I've spoekn to with actual experience has had the jealousy factor as already noted.

Right: opinion time, during a really good row, who can actually achieve highest decibel level, males or females? Viking can scream pretty loud, but i can scream MUCH louder. I suspect this is 'cos he is French & ends up bursting into tears, whereas i am part Oirish, so can continue hurling insults at high volume & won't do tears till he's off the premises.

So: experience of other folks rows please, are there cultural differences? Do older/younger/gay couples have different types of rows?

I reckon probably but only IF the other one stays around, he simply boggers orf back to his place. but obviously strong emotional stuff is going on (otherwise you wouldn't bother rowing!) so if he was here now it's entirely possible we would be doing rabid stuff in the style of

Rowing doesn't do it for me! Have never been able to get down and fruity with someone who's just been calling me names and being abusive and I tend to need a good while to 'cool off' when I've seen the red mist

However, having said that, I do try never to go to sleep on an argument, if possible
