*very girly statement coming up*
What's the use of Johnny Depp in an ANIMATED flick?
Yes Psychochiken. You are getting old. You must now turn in your youth card and apply for your bus-pass. :P
I don't mind Ben Afflick movies, as long as I don't engage the brain while watching. But Daredevil was an abomination, and what I've seen of Elecktra puts me to sleep.

Saw Team America: World Police last night and it was very, very funny but also very, very wrong in places. A sex scene between puppets
Loved the songs though:
I miss you like Pearl Harbour missed a plot, I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting lessons

He does the voice for the main character pschochicken and the character LOOKS so much like him that I knew who it was before he spoke.

Cool Trailer
I loved Nightmare Before Christmas, and Corpse Bride looks just as cool.
On the subject of Ben Affleck, i find he's only good in Kevin Smith movies, though i haven't seen Jersey Girl, so i don't know if hes good in that.

Why does everyone love Kevin Smith so much?
I liked Clerks but everything else he has done is pretentious drivel if you ask me.

Me too. It was pretty funny! It had the same problem as everything that Parker & Stone do - it's absolutely hilarious in places but has long patches where just the concept of puppets is supposed to be funny enough in itself. I did laugh 'til I cried in places though.
"Now hold on team, Gary has already proven to me that he is 100% committed to the team. He proved it last night by ............"

No way dude, Mallrats and Chasing Amy are fantastic (in different ways). Everything he's made since has sucked (although I haven't seen Jersey Girl either)

Makes more sense if you know Psychochicken and I are going out, I suppose. Sorry, I'll behave myself from now on.

This film might interest some:
http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/mirrormask/main.html
Its called Mirrormask, it by the Jim Henson company (muppets, labyrinth), it written by Neil Gaiman (Sandman, Neverwhere) and with artwork by Dave McKean (Sandman, Wolves in the Walls).
It looks excellently wierd, though the plot sounds alot like Labyrinth.

I was just looking at mirrormask myself - funny that - and I adore the tune on the website.
I'd heard that the Henson company sold the muppets to Disney so they could pursue other more 'adult' themed entertainment. If this is the sort of thing they have in mind, I can't wait to see this and more!

Henson did themselves a lot of favours with Farscape, which showcased an entire side of their output to the industry.
Watched Cabin Fever on Saturday. What excellent cheesy fun that was. A sort of mutant hybrid between Outbreak/Evil Dead/Blair Witch/Deliverance and Cujo.

I'm going to the cinema this morning - there's a choice of "Finding Neverland" or "De-Lovely" starting at 10.30. I'd like to see bothbut haven't learned how to clone myself yet, so I'll have to toss a coin when I get there.
I'm not a Johnny Depp fan, but I am a fan of Peter Pan.
And the De-Lovely film sounds wonderful...
I *did* watch Farscape - Peacekeeper Wars mini-series over the last two Sundays - does that count as a film?
It wasbut then I'm a sci-fi fan. Love the aliens in that.
I agree with Blues the Henson company did themselves a great favour with Farscape. Ben Browder describes Farscape as "sci-fi on crack" at gateworld.net.
