Y'know everybody in this thread thus far are the people I would not be upset to find on a friends list.
Derek "hunny" italic said the motive behind this was to get more traffic to the front pag; I dunno, it also shows a good side to this joint.

Good thinking - I think there should be a tally sheet - how many people mentioned you were advertised on the FP, and how many people you didn't know left you a message.

I've had a comment from Milla, who's also on the Front Page. I'd looked at the front page myself when I firsed went online, but I'd only glanced at it and not noticed the new section. I did notice, though, that the quote of the day hasn't changed from yesterday.

apart from the fact that my page consists of a large amount of nothing at the minute I would be entirely indifferent if it were linked from teh front page - so you may wish to count me 'in'.

Does the subject title here *have* to be in CAPS?
I've gone a bit minimalist on my PS lately - it used to be much more elaborate - but I wouldn't mind it being featured on the front page, if only so other researchers might find the photo gallery.
The Five Busiest Conversations list on the front page was a nice thing to have - any chance of bringing it back? And maybe also Five Recent Guide Entries? What about Five Newest Researchers? That oughtta scare 'em off...
