PHoD People who describe games, amongst other things, as 'addicting'. (It surprised me just now that the online dictionary didn't object to the word.) I know it's an indication of language change in progress, but anything other than 'addictive' just looks wrong, IMO.

On of my PH's is when people ask for help with doing something on Excel, and it turns out that what they want to do is print a spreadsheet of 91,000 rows and 18 columns on one side of an A4 page in a 12 pt font.

I don't know how prevelant this sort of behavior is, but it always annoys /me/ when I have a job or a goal I want to accomplish within a set amount of time, and then it takes me WAAAY longer to do it than I thought it would.

Oh yes, Mr X - I agree totally. Especially when you've put off starting it because you thought it would be done in an hour.

The use of the word 'individuals' when the speaker realy means 'people' or 'children' etc. This is usually used by individuals who work in uniform, usually policeindividuals or fireindividuals.

Having to press buttons multiple times to achieve a simple objective. For instance:

Press button to enter menu
Press to scroll to the 'save' menu
Press button to save
"Do you want to create a new save or save over an exisiting one?"
Press to save over existing save.
"Are you sure you want to do that? You won't be able to go back to your previous save."
Press button to say 'yes, I'm sure'
"Pressing save will save your current game over your previous save"
Press button to save (at last)
Press button to exit save menu

Why can't I just save?! The world will not implode if I don't press save twenty times first to prove I really, really do want to!
