What is concidered active user ? "

Gnomon posted somewhere a few days ago that there are a few thousand who pop in and post from time to time, and about 100 who come regularly - which means all of us.

We're part of an exclusive group, isn't it great?

I've been doing a bit of trawling today - who's online, the odd friends list and so on - just to see who's a regular, who's around.

I'm just through the 250 mark. And that's a Sunday

If no one can think of a good reason not to do it, I thought I might make a list, a sort of directory of all the 'active' researchers around. Might take a while, but it's getting quite interesting.

Is active classed as being here and posting piffle, or being here and creating guide entries?

I gather it doesn't cover lurkers or us the invisible ones that no one notices or acknowledges even when we post.

Active means active, either way. I've still got to go back and check, but posted this year and that's basically it.

There are still some but there is less of them.

The info page isn't really that interesting any more. It used to take ages to load, but had quite some info on it in the olden times.

I'm not as active as i used to be, and i never was really active. However, i'm willing to give it a go if you are.

It's a bit like that old joke ....
