I'm older than everybody else in this conversation (possible exception of Marjin)The primary class the year below me has just had a 47 year reunion - fortunately I was well out of the country and couldn't go, but my first ever boyfriend (who found me through the evils of the internet) told me all about it. Now, meeting all those grandparents would have made me feel old, especially the ones who still live in the same place, but nothing else seems to. I, too, am concentrating on growing old disgracefully

Look behind you - that bloke with the mop? - he is employed to follow you around, your companies insurance company refused to underwrite the costs of any claims relating to puddles or urine.

You are making me feel older! I have just packed in my job accepted an offer on my house(5 minutes ago) and am off to start a new life in scotland at 47...if I don't settle I 'll just move on again.I like being old enough not to care what people think!

you really would not want my job..apparently they can't get anyone to take it...no one wnats to work for my boss and no one wants to work a 60 hour week for no extra pay. Online do you live in London? I have a friend may be able to help on the job front.

it'll be advertised in August. look on the web page for H. uni under staff..then browse jobs. the girl is leaving beginning of August.there may be other jobs going ..I'd check it every week.

I'm 48, an unemployed student and have sons of 30, 26 and 15 years old. Beat that! No seriously, I feel old and when asked how old she was my mother (who was 10 years younger than we thought at the time)., used to say "The same as my hair and a little bit older than my teeth". I assume from that, that she was born with hair... The only people aside from her born with hair, are the sons of my sister and me, two of them out of four (sons., that is).
What makes me feel old? Making a sarcastic remark in front of the telly and being chided by my 15 year old for "old-fashioned views" Eeurghhh! Moi, old fashioned? No way!
