Were trev and simon quite recent? I vaguley remember them, but don't really remember from when. Did they come after Andy Crane/Peters but before Zoe Ball?

I used to watch TISWAS when I hadn't switched off my TV set and gone to do something less boring instead...

I remember trev and simon . what makes me feel old is the shocked look on students faces when i tell them i'm 47 this year. I was born in the rock and roll era and lived through 5 decades of music and loved it all.
I don't feel any different from when i was about 20 -but my body complains sometimes.

Yes, Rampager, I was thirty-mumble* in 1984,and my older son was 8. I loved the Two Ronnies, I remember the things you mention. My niece was born in 1983 and I can't adjust to her not being 3!

I've had arthritis since I was under 20! It's true and I wasn't diagnosed until I was 21, so I don't exactly know how long... It's like a foretaste of hell sometimes, especially in the cold and damp of NZ! (Memo, NZ is *not* the warm place people o/seas think it is...) Trouble is, now I really *am* old, people think my arthritis is caused by wear and tear (osteo) when it's actually rheumatoid, which is completely different!

* Worry about the size of the gas bill
* Visting Amsterdam and not smoking substances other than tobacco
* Listening to Radio 4
* Taking an interest in gardening
* Pot plants that survive and are not Pot
* Buying a washing machine
* Not being overdrawn,
* Applying for a morgage,
* Realsing that nivarna does not involve getting so drunk that you vomit
* and that night clubs are not the best thing since siliced bread
* Visting art galleries through choice and enjoying it.

i saw trev and simon at the edinburgh fringe last year! they were very funny! and very, very very rude. hehehe

HEY! My world started after 1980!!

It is my view that 1980 is the *best* year ever!!!!!! (There are many other good ones, 1970,1976,1987,1989 and 2000 but 1980 is the best!)

I feel quite old when I know that I had something witty to post to this thread earlier today, but now I've forgotten what it is
