It was literally raining cats and dogs (shome mishtake surely - ed) as I left dance class last night around midnight.....I had to borrow an umbrella from the caretaker. And there was a huge lightning storm which really lit up the whole sky as I drove home.
This morning at dawn the still-dark-grey clouds were really scudding across the sky, but they've all gone now and it's blue sky, little fluffy white clouds, sunshine, 18 degrees

Long Island, N.Y. Like it was November. Below normal temp. for October. Rainy, cold. Heating goes on with sky high price for fuel.

Fairly briught and sunny. About 10c right now. Predicted to remain dry for the day.
Dreading the end of this week when we have to switch off the sun altogether for five months.

It rained like hell over night, but today is another dry, bright sunny day - so far. However, judging by the firey red sky we had at 8 o'clock this morning, I would say we are likely to get p****d on later.

Today in Glendale CA, it's clear, blue sky, with puffy white "look, it's a giraffe" clouds, and moderately cool.
Two days ago, there was a HUGE waterspout right off the beach in Malibu at noon, and it hailed pea-size ice balls on Glendale for 15 minutes!!
Snowboarding is now open in the mountains. Y'all come on down!

After an absolutely devine weekend (Bright sunshine, 27C) it has started raining today - just in time to really set in and give all those, in their lovely outfits, who will be at the Melbourne Cup tomorrow a cold, wet time
