I did indeed, very good

Not that I recognised many of the names but it's been a while since I visited anywhere on the comeby circuit. think the last time was to see Ed Byrne in, erm, Stoke I think. Him good but seems to have disappeared of recent?

Ed doing the voice over for the carphone warehouse ad at the mo and a few bits of tv work. A lot of comics stop doing stand up when they get regular TV work. shame really. Peter Kay is a prime example.

The comics we get are pretty big on the national circuit, i.e. comedy store, jongleurs and all the other corporate hell holes, but they also do our club too, cos they like it. People like Stuart Francis (very big in canada) and Ian Cognito (circuit vetaran and one the funniest comics there is).

When I first started going, I didn't know the names, but you get into it and start to learn who is who. Its a fairly close scene in a lot of respects.
