I was nearly in a band called TurboMaster as we were, erm, slightly the worse for wear when trying to come up with a name and I spotted the bassists turboMaster hoover thing in the corner. Bad story but kinda relevant! (well its no worse than AC/DC anyway!)

I'm trying to think up a name for our band at the mo, we were called Soma but so, it seems, is everyone else under the pulsars!

I like Luna, but someone said its too much like Tuna.

Another band which never happened when I was at school was called 'Tower of Silence' after some cultures place of the dead. Basically it was an open topped tower into which they put the bodies of their dead and the vultures came and ate the flesh off the bones, ith the bones falling to the bottom.

But I guess it depends on the type of band, probably not too good a name for a two-tone or Jazz band

Still got the lyrics for our first song somewhere written by a long lost friend.

Like to read them!! Probably quite scary though!
