Well, folks, I think it is Game Over.
When Lorenzen grabs Sarah and uses his Escape mechanism, both he and Sarah disappear to somewhen (i.e. they both go back to the time that Lorenzen originally travelled from. Thus, Sarah's imprecation for Lorenzen to unhand her, actually takes place way in the future. The cat yowled, I guess, because Sarah disappeared. Volkert would see no one but the cat in the room.
And somewhere in the future, Lorenzen would be trying to use the soulstone to bring Hitler back to life. He knows it is the most powerful magic thing in existance, but he doesn't know how to use it. That is why he needed to take Sarah along - so that he could torture her into revealing how to use it.
However, there are a couple of things that Lorenzen doesn't know. The first is that Sarah has no access to the power of the soulstone. She can perform some magic herself, but she is not very magically powerful. She is unlikely to be able to recreate Hitler, even from Hitler's brain, which Lorenzen possesses. Secondly, he is unaware that the soulstone is about an hour away from blowing up. When it does, it will be roughly equivalent to a nuclear explosion.
As for the game, there is one subplot going on out on deck that would be good to complete, but other than that, there is probably not much reason to keep going now that the soulstone has been taken care of. I'll post more in the announcements thread.

Um, wow. Sorry. I was thinking I'd be sent into the future, have to come back, and get rid of the witnesses... um, by not killing all the crew I think I've significantly altered history...

Indeed! Plus in an hour, you will probably be blown up.
You wouldn't be too concerned about the messing up of time, because you are a CART member anyway. But you would probably be concerned about being blown up
I suppose it would have been possible for you to be come back again, but I doubt you would have been able to persuade the CART guys within an hour. Plus you would have been dealing with Sarah. Anyway, most of that is excuse, because I thought that returning was next to impossible - I just now reread you character description and saw that perhaps one return trip was possible.

Yes, that was the idea. Anyway, you're right, I probably couldn't convince CART in an hour. But I think I *could* get Sarah to tell me that the stone was going to blow up in about 15 minutes time. I'm going to simply assume that my character ends up well outside the blast radius, and goes on to look for new and different ways to complete his goal.

Let's see what history does, hmmm?
*Yclept's ghost (while also on the Astral Plane), enters the Forecastle, and looks around. Has a sudden idea, and melts through the floor into the Cargo Hold*
