Back to our reason for being in this thread (sort of), my daughter and I watched Muppet Treasure Island last night. I wonder if we'll see any pirates on this adventure.

I don't mean to step backwards in the conversation..... but has anyone bothered to trace his IP and just find out where his computer is connecting to the internet from?
or would that be cheating?

Gwen, I didn't say 'almost', I said 'about'. I actually went /passed/ Denver, but I don't remember the name of the town I stopped in. I was visiting family.

Well, Arl you have to get back here at some point. Denver is one of my favoite cities ever, and I've lived in many, many places.
Hmmmm... I hadn't thought about that, Xai. Its worth a try, I suppose. I'll have to give it a go when I get back to wok.
WM, I do love Tim Curry as Long John Silver! As for pirates here, I suppose its possible. I'd feel fairly sorry for any that catch up with the Mary Celeste though.
B-17, c'mere. I need to know what you want to wear in terms of Captain's Finery.

It did seem like a great town. Mostly I just ate at a Denny's there, though.

you keep notes on where affy lives? lol...
i only have two clues. he has a ranch, i think (lol) and lives i reckon in the bible belt. both of these have tenuous reasons behind 'em.

Well, I would assume. But when you're just passing through, you don't always have time to look for the good local stuff. Did you say that Marv visisted you there once?

*Back from Paris, can't be bothered to read most of the backlog (though the messages from GL were read), and waiting for the thing to start so he can watch. *

Thanks for the trousers, G7! Enough room in the waist to let some steam out and to tuck a cook's cloth into. Perfect!
