Ooh really are s ok if you leave them all day? I suppose they must be actually. I would quite like to have a as well, but I tend to like big walks that take you for walks, rather than visa versa.
Oh well better water the plants.

Ben, the way to break in a pair of DMs is very simple. You place your new Docs together in the middle of the room, you place your old Docs on your feet and then you leap up and down on the new Docs for a good 5 minutes or so. This procedure has three benefits:
1) It breaks all the sharp bits in the new docs down so they can be worn with ease straight away.
2) It's rather a good cardiovascular workout.
3) It transfers the spirit of the old Docs, soon to die, into the new. A bit like in The Exorcist really

damage, break in...it's all a matter of what you call it, Z.
My dad got his rottweiler a pet dog. Gus needed something to do all day, so now he has Sis, a Jack Russell. She is fearless. She tries to play tug-o-war with him (her 10 pounds to his 145), and has a tendency to forget about the rope after a bit and go straight for his jowls, or his ear. But he puts up with it, and every time someone he doesn't know comes anywhere near her, there's 145 pounds of growling, snarling Rottweiler between her and them.

This may be a silly question, but if you get your a pet how you make sure you get one that he (or she) will get along with?

You look at both personalities and find two that work together, Z. Kind of like people, really.
All this talk about baking and candies makes me ALMOST regret my diet. Almost.

My docs took a long time to break in, but it is well worth the sore feet once your feet have molded to the docs, I mean the docs to your feet.
BTW G should think me for taking her to the store that she got her candy apple red doc boots.

Ok, 91 posts is just to much for me to catch up on.
Night #3 in a row with my kids. YEAH!
We are planning a trip to the library tomorrow, if the weather is not nasty, and lunch. Should be a good day.

The main thing you need to know is we've made amnesty with Oetzi, although he may have to be reminded a few times. Gah, now I forget the post number where I declared the amnesty.
I have been eating my way through a pecan log, that has soft cherry nougat inside and caramel and pecans outside. The annual Christmas treat.
Strange business, getting a pet for a pet.

Yeah, but it's sort of like getting two cats instead of one. You sort of figure that they'll take their aggression out on eachother, instead of the furniture (or you!).

I managed to read the blog, the kids are asleep now. The Amnesty was given in post 1532.
I am more of a cat person myself. I already have my next cat's name picked out now, I just need to get a job and get my own place so I can get said cat.

Here in the N Pennines in the UK we have no snow. A lot have places have this morning but not us, which is unusual: must be climate change.
The heating system in my 14yr old car failed yesterday. An essential item. The breakers yard is shut for the holiday. Drastic meaures required. So I heated a knife and cut through the dash board to remove the knobs that push and pull the cables.
The switch for the fan was starting to burn away too. So now we have a hole with a few cables and an odd looking switch. A bit like the old Citroen 2CV. But it works and that'll do.

Oetzi, as Tocc said, we moved to a new conversation, 64X -- and people have talked about your car there.
