*rattles swear box approvingly*
Rats will chew on ~anything~ I think. And a demon rat will probably chew on things we haven't even heard of.
I have company coming in a few minutes, see you all later.

MR, I'm a half-empty nester, or should that be half-full nester? No1 son will be around for a while yet. Even so it feels rather empty as No2 son doesn't do quiet and already I miss the sound of gunfire (Battlefield 42 game) and his music. He was coming in today to finish clearig his room, but hasn't so far appeared and I suspect he and g/f have gone to see RofK after their Xmas shopping trip.
Coely congrats on the good report, I hope you can rest on your laurels and have a rest over the holidays
Styx, don't you want this biscuit then?

If you are going to buy DMs be aware that they take ages to wear in. I wore my boots for 15 mins a day for ages, and then 30, and then half a day, and so on. Like contact lenses used to be. But then they are worth it.
A friend has lent us a spare Christmas Tree, but it only has two legs of its three leg stand, and if I put it on the cabinet it is too high to decorate easily. I think I am just a bit too weary to tackle it now, and Stepson and I have no shared rituals for Christmas, so it will be me that does it. In fact, of course, I am just turning into a wingeing pom about the whole thing.
The other thing I have just realised is that though Stepson bought his whole extended family Christmas presents, I have heard nothing at all about any coming to him from them.
This is making me so angry I am shaking and beginning to hyperventilate.

Yes Amy I kept rats at school.
We have plenty of mice round here. I like 'em.
We have plenty of rats too, but I keep quiet about
that. Upsets the neighbours.

Yeah, I keep quiet about my rats too, Oetzi . Tell us about your doggies: I get the impression that they're very important to you.

But I truly believe I am more animal than human...if that helps.

Oetzi, that was a genuine attmept to include you in the conversation. If you no longer have dogs, we'll be happy to hear about dogs you've had in the past or dogs you'd like to own in the future.

Right!
I love dogs. I have a weimararner and a dachshund. My two brothers.

A friend of mine had a couple of Weinmaraner pups - lovely dogs - with such compelling eyes.

He adores Arni. Can't bear to be parted. But yes he literally sleeps with us. Arni sleeps at the foot of the bed on top. Mini is mid-bed undercover. Arni thinks Mini is his son...sees to his toilet etc.

Sorry Amy my eyesight is getting worse by the day.
The Boots £5 lenses are due for the bin...will have to
go to eyequack.

Eye colour: Arni has Lion eyes, but some have blue.
Some say the blue eyes are loopy. Not true.
The owners are loopy: not the dog.

So Mini is a girl?

Oetzi Oetztaler....Anti Apartheid Posted Dec 21, 2003
Both boys...name dropping. Mini is a friend of Phillipa Forrester.
She interviewed him at Crufts last year. It's 'cause he was conceived at 33 000ft on a DHL flight from Australia.
