Debenham's at Canterbury, and Heathrow Airport are quite exotic places to me, although I guess it's not whaz you had in mind.

An internet phone kiosk at Bank tube station, when I got lost trying to meet several people for a pre-Meet meet.
I also got thrown off a course for the terminally unemployed by 'misusing' their computers for surfing hootoo.

1) Heathrow Airport - I was bored waiting 2 hours for a flight
2) An internet terminal in a bar 2000 metres up in the Alps... (I needed to check my e-mails and while I was there... )

Branscombe on my mobile, reading one of Skankyrich's entries on the south-weat coast path. I was tired, it was wet and I wanted to see how hard the next three miles were supposed to be, to help me decide whether it was time to call it quits or whether I should carry on.

A lodge in Whitehorse in the Yukon, a hotel in Rankin Inlet (Nunavut), azahar and noggin's livingroom in Seville, the convention centre in Las Vegas, on board a cruise ship off the west coast of Mexico and at a kiosk at LAX (all exotic for me if not for other people).
