From one of the posh hotels on the Yukutan peninsula (not the cheap and cheerful joint Id booked into) in Mexico sitting next to a palm tree encircled fountain.
From the centre of Seville in the shadow of the Cathedral during a trip when I was shown around and fed all sorts of lovely food by two very sweet people.
Which was nice.

Only just spotted this thread. Sorry, I love the fact that Chris (posts 8 and 9) describes Victoria Falls as a "water feature". Understatement at it's best.
Anyway, not *tropically* exotic, but I'm currently sat in a microbiology laboratory, taking a break from testing... well, you probably don't want to know!

On the tropical side of things, several of the... specimens... are the "end" result (ahem) of tropical holidays!

The day I actually went to see the Falls it wasn't very impressive, to be honest. The deluge often reduces to a trickle at times.
Anyway, I'm boycotting this thread since it ought to be headed "Who here has the most disposable income?" I can scarcely afford to go to town these days.

Trust me, getting to Branscombe doesn't need a lot of disposable income, just good knees and a bit of fitness.

We used to have a chart in the office where you could register a claim for things you've done on 6 continents.
I haven't surfed h2g2 from 6 continents. I'm missing Australasia and South America. Not that surfing h2g2 was on the chart anyway.
In fact I wasn't very good at the whole thing. I got the basic 'been to' but that was all. I got somewhere close on 'drove a car', 'played golf' and 'lost luggage', but I was nowhere on the edgy ones like 'skiied', 'paid for sex' or 'watched the Sound of Music'.
Well, OK, I got the last one to be honest, but I'd rather not talk about it.

Umm. . . my living room?
Well, according to some here that's been an exotic experience.
A couple of weeks ago Nog & I surfed h2g2 from the lobby of our lovely hotel in Barcelona. Am hoping to surf from Lisbon soon ...
