Giving a lesson, all the way through, which went really well, having good comments made by my supervisor on its organisation planning, the worksheets, overheads, handout, etc.,
And, most of all, giving the lesson, and having the pupils attention, and getting laughs at the appropiate bits

It's better than getting laughs at your inappropriate bits, in a manner of speaking.

Today for the first time in years I actually had at my back door

1.a Mistle Thrush.
2.a small flick/flock of Blue Tits.
3.a Robin.
4.The best of all a teeny,weeny Wren.

all in the space of five minutes.

Perhaps my neighbour of 21 years leaving wasn't such a bad thing after all.She took her 5 cats with her and now maybe the local wild life will return.I might even be able to finally have a bird table.

A co-worker bought me some candy to cheer me up (I was *very* angry at the time)

I had a really good barbecue sandwich for lunch. So good, in fact, I had two of them just for the heck of it.

Hasn't happened yet but...I'm going home for the weekend and meeting up with the Scottish H2G2-ers on Saturday and seeing all me freinds..and best of all......... my boyfreind!

Asking a colleague to divert our boss so that he cannot attend, take over and disrupt a workshop I am running on Monday. And lo! He has been diverted!

On my way to w*rk today the sky was (finally) clearing up, and the birds were singing - I hadn't even noticed they had stopped until they started again - all other mornings this week have been cloudy, grey and gloomy...

The same thing as every other day the last five weeks: Realising that I'm living with sunny.

My big big boss came in this afternoon and asked me for some information he needed in a format I had never provided it in before. He thought it was difficult.

It wasn't and the stuff was on his desk 15 mins later.

He thinks I'm a hero!

For the second time this week I got free food at the drive-thru. Yeah, I know thats not to great, but all is relative.

Free food at the drive thru? That is surely stuff of legends

Best thing that's happened to me today? Went out for a great big lunch, ate a huge burger with a beer. That was pretty good, though now all I want to do is go to sleep. Hasn't been a great day otherwise though really, pretty pedestrian. Oh, my boss went off at lunchtime to play golf for the rest of the day, so I can go on h2g2 with impunity. That's good I suppose.
