Hmm, the best thing today, having the day off the second best thing, waking up (meaning I wasn't dead this morning despite feeling like I was) Possibily the best thing for the day when It happens/if it happens meeint up with friends later in the pub

Getting enough sleep and having my headache go.

That sounds so dreary, but I really am on good form now, and it is the weekend. Yay!

Getting to move into my new dorm.

stopping the car to let four wild turkeys cross the road ahead of me in the middle of the small town i live in.

My mate Red Scout popping over for the day, even if it would have been nice had he had the time to stay over and allow us to go out to the pub tonight it was still good to see him, espeically as he's just been offshore for two months! having lunch in the pub and sitting in a cafe during the afternoon, and talking the rubbish we normally do having my shopping dilivery arrive only half an hour late (as opposed to four and a half hours late), thinking of going to pub in the evening and not thinking about an essay denial

Seeing the Smackdown wrestlers live and in person at the Rebellion Pay Per View in Manchester.

Getting an early express train back (and sneking into first-class.)

Spending an evening with my brother (Always nice. The little perisher prefers his friends to me most of the time.)

Almost avoiding getting rained on.

Putting the clocks back (Huzzah! - more time in bed.)

Going out for a Chinese meal with some colleagues, and then to the best bar we have yet found in the place, and hearing some Persian Party Music. (That stuff ROCKS!) And watching K drink Voodoo Chiles (a concoction of rum and various fruit juices).

A good night out.

Getting all my stuff moved into my new room and put away by 3 this afternoon. (Most ironic thing is the 'Free labor' came by at the precise moment I moved my last box here. ).

... and having a *really* nice dream this morning...

yes, daylight saving time ended tonight, the pubs were allowed to stay open and hour later over here. not that it mattered to me.

I took my pc to be repaired - its been playing up for a while - and discovered they could fix it today.....or maybe tomorrow!

I expected to lose it for a week!

I suppose I might yet though! Its not back yet!

Finding out that getting up at 5:20am is not so bad when your body still thinks it is 6:20 - will have to try and not adjust to GMT so that getting up for work doesn't feel horrid again.
