introducing...who?
hi, i'm rick in ashtabula OH, along the shores of the great lake named erie, and have no idea what i'm doing. bear with me, i'll figure out SOMEthing, eventually. i believe in rock'n'roll and swing blues.
and baseball. definitely baseball.
i read, on the net and real books. started at libraries young, mostly sports, moved into sci-fi with bradbury, then heinlein, asimov and clarke, et.al. and found douglas adams along the way.
i've done newspapers, backstage theatre, backstage rock'n'roll, darkrooms, writing, editing, with some real work in there somewhere, to pay the bills. glad to be a small part of the Guide.
i am not graphically oriented ("oh yeah, dear, it looks pretty, lemme see what it says.")
i can help do a few possible Guide entries, especially with authors and literature (see A849080 robert anson heinlein) (since referred to thru Vidmaster's A650369) or baseball (not cricket, or rounders, and certainly not krikket!) and hope, with your support, to help make the Guide as useful as it is entertaining.
i have my towel (i also bring along a pillow) and will keep reminding myself that this is not really serious (but it is!) and to quote neil young, "keep on rockin' in the free world!"
