I think you might have a hard time keeping Peta away, especially if she doesn't have to organise it
Four drinks might be pushing it...
The food sounds happy though

I am pretty sure it won't be four drinks, one or two at the most.

As long as it's at least one... two would be better of course!

well, people have to get back to other places (including train stations, and other faraway parts of the country) so perhaps one or two is for the best, that way people can get free drinks and not feel they've wasted a voucher.
lots of food, sounds excellent. since I've never been to a meet before I can't grumble nostalgicly so I'll just enjoy the experience. and meet lots of people, too.

Well that's good, as there wasn't enough last time.
I hope it's nice food too. None of these nasty egg sandwiches thankyou!

"That was the moment she cracked up. She was in a cafe somewhere. Rickmansworth. Don't know what she was doing there, but that was where she cracked up. Apparently she stood up, calmly announced that she had undergone some extraordinary revelation or something, wobbled a bit, looked confused, and finally collapsed screaming into an egg sandwich."
Douglas Adams
So long, and thanks for all the fish

You see? Someone understands the cultural significance of the egg sandwiches.

I expect I shall be attending the meet! Although, being as I'm a cuddly toy, I won't be needing any food or drinks...
I'm not sure who'll be taking me yet either!

Egg sandwiches are fine, provided I don't have to eat them!

I'm not sure who I'll be with by then... all I know for (reasonably) certain is that I'll be leaving the Oxford meet with Tinkerbell & Perigrin.

Ummm... why don't we see how far around the world we can send a cuddly toy!?? Of course, that doesn't have to CONCERN the Meet Sheep. I'm just a nerd when it comes to mail.
