What would you ask Hitler?

If you had Adolf Hitler in front of you and you could ask him one question, what would it be?
Mine would probably be either:
'How did Jessie Owens, a black American sportsman, beat all your best sprinters from the Aryan Master Race in the Berlin Olympics during your time in power?'
or:
'Why is a Master Race of blond-haired, blue-eyed, strong, tall, ultra-fit men from Germany being led by a short, brown-haired, brown-eyed, unathletic man from Austria?'
I think that if Hitler had been around today, the satirical elements of the media (e.g. 'Have I Got News For You') what tear him to pieces.

The satirical elements of the media have torn George W Bush apart many times. But he is still in charge of the biggest fighting machine in the world.

I don't get it Gnomon...
I don't know what I'd ask. I don't think I would try to prove him wrong or anything, I don't think it'll be effective...

And yet I am somehow not surprised Gnomon...
I think I'd be asking the 'how come you, a short fat dark haired/eyed Austrian is building THE perfect race of big strapping blondes' too Bob.. Though i'd be adding...'is it due to some kind of suppresed homosexulity?' As it always seems to me he fixated on the men more..

The difference between 'Dubya' and Hitler is that Hitler took the people with him. If Dubya did something stupid like invade Mexico or start nuking things, the public outcry would be phenominal, as comedians, etc. would help people to see through the speeches and propaganda.
The inconsistencies in Nazi policies are obvious today, but no-one noticed them then.

Perhaps the inconsistencies in Dubya's policies will be obvious in 50 years time when the quantification of the number of deaths worldwide cause dby the failure to implement the Kyoto treaty is known.

I'd probably want to ask Hitler something that would determine if he actually believed all the racist, frankly evil, stuff that came spouting out of the mouths of himself and others during the time of Nazi rule, or if it was just a way to gain power at the expense of others.
Or if the price was worth it.

I think his answer to that last one would probably be 'Because I'd lost the war and the enemy were less than a mile away'. When all your plans come crashing down around your ears, it does tend to change your perspective on life.

I'd ask him...
"Why does everything taste like chicken?"
or
"Which came first... the chicken or the egg?"
or even
"Were you spanked as a child?"
peace.
