Naah, the most common must be High Street. I work in a call center and half the places I get in is on a place called High Street.

Newton Abbot is in Devon, ten miles or so south west from Exeter. Its got a race course and was where Brunel's failed atmospheric railway went to, but there's not much else to commend it.
There's also a place in Devon called Newton Ferres (or something like).
