I'd like the rain to stop, it's that constant drizzle that's dispiriting.

>>I'd like the rain to stop<<
You might want to consider moving to a different city then, I don't think it stops raining in Manchester. I know in my second year of Uni I forgot that my waterproof jacket was removeable.

You call this rain? This is just high density air moisture.
Wait until it's coming down sideways, in chunks. Then it's rain.

The period when I was studying for my exams in '79 was a wave. Don't know which was tougher, studying, or coping with the heat!!!
Must have been the only year, in the whole Century, it didn't rain!!!
And don't wear Hunter wells or a Barbour. They'll know you aren't local and think you are from the South, or Didsbury!

Oddly, Burberry still counts as posh in Germany. And Lonsdale marks you out as a Neonazi.

Can we invite Mario Balotelli? I think there's a very real chance that he might turn up.

The more the merrier Sir! I am definitely one of those that believes partners should always be welcome at social events. It is a bug bear of mine when work's do's don't allow them. So bring the good lady along!
