Ah, no problem, thought I should post just in-case

We've often had pictures from the meet uploaded in the past haven't we? What's happened then? I'm assuming that those that were non-consentual weren't uploaded.

I've around 600 photos from previous Meets, but never posted, as I've not been given permission, and nearly all are shots taken on the fly, to capture the true personality.

And they won't be posted unless permission is given.

But that is my own personal take on it. I also rarely take photos with people in, generally, unless I need perspective, ads I find them 'clutter' in the photograph I'm selecting.

However, if someone wants a photo of a particular event, for their own use, I'm happy to provide it.

Also, if you are in a public venue, it is hard to declare privacy, especially with today's modern smartphones.

I keep on top of the changes to the photo / privacy laws, and the "advice" chief constables pass down to the hobbies etc, and it basically is that if you're an adult in a public place, you're "fair game"

Now, having said that... I'm always conciencious that some people don't like being in photos, I'm not keen myself.

Well, if the strikers at Frankfurt airport don't see reason, I won't even get a chance to be in a meet photo.
