In English, changing the way you say something changes what it means.
A sentence like "Did you wash the car<?>" can have around 6 different meanings....It's not like that in most other languages...

i loved french when i studied it. unfortunately you can ruin three years of good french with one year of spanish. my phrasebook now contains:

je ne parle pas francais
and
no hablo espagnol
smiley - winkeye

on another note tho, i always thought "je tu adore" was contracted, like this: "je t'adore", and that in the more common language it was actually used "je t'aime".

have you considered submitting this for peer review?

I think it could be contracted.....I'll look into that...thankyou smiley - biggrin

Do you think it's good enough for peer review<?>

sorry i didn't get back here sooner, i'm suffering a massive attack of r.l.

yes, i do think it would do well in peer review. if you like you could look at some of the other 'handy phrases' entries, to see what elements they include. that's actually how i found your entry, and i think it's just as good as some, and better than others smiley - ok

at any rate, peer review would give you some feedback, it would be up to you whether or not you make any changes.

good luck!
