About Me
I've been on h2g2 on and off for a very long time, it must be said, and at the moment I'm trying to settle myself back in. This time I want to stay for good. You guys are officially the best people on the internet.
As for who I am.. I'm a BA philosophy student at the University of Warwick, about to enter my final year. This is entertaining, because I now no longer consider myself existentialist, even though my username demands it of me! I am still very fond of Sartre, and I also have a soft spot for Spinoza, Freud, Kuhn and Szasz. Eastern philosophy is also a keen interest of mine, and one of my personal hopes is to be able to write a comprehensive series of entries on Buddhism here!
I am a geek, who likes sci-fi and gaming, and who owns more 20 sided dice than is really necessary. I am also quite into arts and crafts, and occasionally make jewellery. I am a big music fan, and although I have pretty much given up having time to play any instruments*, I still really enjoy concerts and finding new music. I like all kinds of music, and this is something I do not exaggerate about: my collection covers folk to noise rock, and just about everything in between.
Some people accuse me of being a thrill seeker, and I guess that's kind of true. I've been tandem jumping before, and I love big roller coasters
I also love animals and cute things. And being made to laugh. And hearing interesting things about science. And poems, and stories, and nonsense.
