"one of the 20 most useful phrases to have to hand while enjoying a long-weekend in Paris"
I've enjoyed many a long weekend in Paris, and quite a few weeks of snowboarding in French Alp resorts, and my rusty French has been pressed into service many times and has pretty much come up trumps on all occasions. However, one phrase I could definitely have used at least once on, I think, every single trip, and which I don't know how to say, would be:
"How about actually doing the job you're being paid to do instead of just standing round chatting, shrugging, smoking stinking rollup cigarettes and smelling of garlic?"
It's a phrase I'm sure most tourists would find useful at some point during a trip to France.

I would agree that it would be best to take this out of PR and do collaborative work on this. It would result in a much more useful entry.
And 'Je suis pleine' definitely shouldn't be used for pregnant - it would be insulting!

Et si tu faisais le travail pour lequel on te paie, au lieu de glander et papoter, tout en haussant les épaules alors que tu dégages l'horrible odeur de tes roulées degeulasses et l'ail que tu bouffes?

Well... something like that.

A streetwise derivative is 'Pas degueu'; roughly meaning, 'not to shabby'.

Consider the entry moved from PR.
I'm putting it collaborative instead. Cool<?>
