Count me in! Spike, Strider, a pickinick (clap clap clap clap clap) in the Orchard sounds most delightful... Those who don't know what a 'pickinick' (clap clap clap clap clap) is, you kinda hafta know the real life version, you can't get the full effect online. Sorry. smiley - sadface In any event, lets make a concerted effort to be more effective than those nutty Linux zealots... No offence to Linux zealots - the true, core ones, I mean... nice cause, bad method.

Me, me, me!!! I love Macs, and have been using them for about 17 years. The first Mac I used was a 512K at work. I'm now using a G4/500 at work. I own a Power Computing PowerCenter (a Mac clone), that I upgraded with a G3 processor. The machine I use the most is my trusty blueberry iBook! smiley - smiley

I've got a ton of bookmarks and resources, and I'll share them if anybody's interested ... but at another time, when I'm not sneaking on here at work ... shhh! smiley - winkeye

Howdy, gang! Cool... My first computer ever was an Apple IIe. Then I got a Mac Classic. (always pictured in the cartoon Bloom County as having little feet...) Currently at home I'm using a Power PC 7200, which works pretty well for freelance stuff. At work I use a super-duper G4, which I wish I could take home with me. Sigh...

That's exactly how I feel Lentilla! smiley - laugh

I remember that first 512K Mac. The system and all the programs were on a floppy, and you had another floppy for your files. I remember thinking it would be an awfully long time before I filled that floppy!

Had a silly idea - I'd like to turn that little Mac Box into a robot for Robot Wars. You know, put legs on the bottom and let it scamper around the arena. Maybe a circular saw blade popping out of the disk drive. I've got to do something with it - my external hard drive is shot, so it's basically just gathering dust.

Man... the Apple IIe had around 80k of memory. Can you imagine? And those floppies cost about five bucks each. How time flies...
