You'll love it. It's great. :D
It is, of course, no substitute for eh... REAL Chocolate, but in a pinch, it works. XD

I never saw the stuff either 'til I travelled over the seas. Possibly it was just another 'terrible' food I was protected from. Or maybe it just isn't common over here.

Sorry to trash the thread, but there is only 28 researchers logged on and I'm a *ickle* bit drunk so I thought I'd do a bit of blazen advertising:

I love chocolate spread - I know exactly where you're coming from, eating it with a spoon is the way to go!
I don't eat it at uni, but I have it at home.

Aaaah One spoonful of chocolate spread followed by
a spoonful of peanut butter... sheer bliss
*watches herself expand like Harry Potter's aunt at the table*
Are you taking another break, Leo?
"Girlie" Garden Shed
Hypatia Posted Jun 16, 2006
If I can't find it here to try, I will buy a jar the next time I am in Blighty.

Break? Sure! Only three exams left! No stress! And I'm a certified Swimming Pool Management Operator for life.
(Bath, in the UK, right? Now I just need a bath. [to operate. Probably wont ever use it again after this summer, but hey, it's a very cool diploma cert for the wall.)
I think in some countries they sell peanut butter and chocolate spread in a jar together. Like they have PB&J in a jar here. Which I'm sure wal-mart sells in the hills as well.

Fiona Posted Jun 16, 2006
Mmmm, they use to sell Goobers (a sort of PB&J), here. :D That stuff was good.
"Girlie" Garden Shed
Wilma Neanderthal Posted Jun 16, 2006
PB&J gah
PB&C yum
Well, that's my vote in
Congrats to your fabulous bathing skills, Leo
Now what did you get in your Business COmputing course exam?
Heeewp!!! She's after me!

Here Goobers are chocolate covered peanuts. I can't remember which company makes them. The same one that has Raisinettes. Goober is also a generic term for peanuts. .

I'm not in concordance there on the chocolate covered raisins.
There's some store nearby that coats their choc covered peanuts in a layer of sesame seeds under the chocolate. Gives it extra crunch. Yum.
I didn't take the computers course yet, thank goodness. I'm alternating gory chapters from my RTE first aid book with technical chapters about creating databases.
Or I was.

oops.
How gir1y.
And while I'm at it, I'll put in my vote for Minor chocolate bars.
"Girlie" Garden Shed
Hypatia Posted Jun 16, 2006
Minor chocolate bars? Never heard of those either.
I love chocolate covered raisins. Leo, you don't know what's good.
And....ahem...this ~is~ the girlie garden shed. Of course we're talking about chocolate.

I like that old fashioned bridge mix. Do they have that in Europe? It is a mixture of chocolate covered peanuts, raisins, almonds, maple creams, vanilla creams, malt balls, etc.

Leo Posted Jun 18, 2006
No minor bars? small. overpriced. come in shiny foil wrapped sticks in three flavours: blue, green, and red. Creamy chocolate, sometimes with nuts. Melts in your mouth.
Key: Complain about this post
