I didn't think I'd make it to the meet but I'm glad I did, even though I had to leave early and be a mum's taxi. Hi to everyone I didn't get a chance to chat to! Special thanks to Jimster and Paully for the brilliant quiz. I left so early that I don't even know if my team won, although I have my suspicions that we didn't!

You were right, we were nowhere near the answers.
Must do better next time.
I assume you got home in time for Taxi duties.

You are right Coelocanth. Reefgirl, Trillian's Child and Venus won the quiz for us, with 15.5 points. Had a great day in Kew, and had a good meal. Won't need to cook again for at least a fortnight. And there is plenty of mulled left. Fancy a glass?
I missed you, but the directions got a bit befuddled? .... Or we did. I blame RF and the Mulled
Wonderful evening. Summer Meet 16th July? ( I can make that as not working or gigging) Get my vote in early. Pretty Please?

Yes, I made my taxi duty in time BB and without too much of a rush. Shame about the quiz!
I didn't get to see as many people as I wanted to, Fiddler, but I'll try and make up for that in the summer. Perhaps I'd better start the voting thread now!

They wouldn't serve me any more booze! Until then it was a bloody good night, though quite a lot of it is hazy. It was great meeting those I haven't met before, a shame I didn't wander (alright, stagger) further back to meet some more, and tragic that RF & I only scored 11 points.
Could anybody tell me how I got home?

Has anyone posted any journals, or is it too early?

The other half of the salonistas didn't do much better in the quiz - 11 points - but it was jolly good fun and I second the thanks to Jimster and Paully for organising it.
Fab bicsuits, Reeefgirl
Mr T and I had to leave fairly early too, for 'last train to the sticks' reasons - did we miss much?
It was fab seeing you all - just wish I'd had time to speak to more of you, especially Trillian's Child and Bagpuss.
